“Making Medicare Easy”—one conversation at a time

Recently, we hosted our annual Medicare Member Meetings, which welcomed more than 200 people across several in-person and virtual sessions throughout The Villages area.

The events were held at the Belvedere Library, Comfort Suites, and the Wildwood Community Center, with a virtual option available for those who joined from home. Guests enjoyed coffee, pastries, and friendly conversation while learning about the latest updates to three local Medicare Advantage (MA) plans.

Our team was excited to see such a strong turnout this year. “It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces—and meet new ones too,” said HIRA agent Susan Brisbin. “This year’s meetings really felt like we were back together again as a community.”

HIRA agents Susan Brisbin, Ann Kroll, Amanda Papazoglou, and Julie Graham—along with guest agent Michelle Payne—provided easy-to-understand information about Medicare plan updates, enrollment options, and how to make the most of coverage in the coming year. Each session included a clear walk-through of 2026 plan changes, followed by lively Q&A discussions that gave attendees a chance to ask specific questions about their coverage.

“It’s one thing to read about changes online,” said agent Ann Kroll, “but sitting down with people and talking things through holds real value.”
